The Light Challange

Today I took some really long exposure pictures to try to capture an interesting design, with light. This is called light painting, and I am definitely novice at it and really respect those that can capture such amazing photos with this technique.

At one point I tried to make my cat; Abby, cooperate with me and chase the stream of light, that was...unsuccessful, for the most part. However, just making random designs and even spelling out SHP and "LOVE" ended up being pretty fantastic. Still, they were very basic, nothing too elaborate, but I thought I'd share some of these beginning works!

I love when I have some freelancing time to just experiment with different photography techniques, besides portrait and nature photography. Creativity is boundless! I can't wait to try out some new things and see what challenges are ahead of my lense!
